About Us
Founded in 2002 by several former IBM employees, Instant Technologies develops service desk and compliance applications for the Microsoft, Slack, and HCL platforms. Instant Technologies believes that enterprise IM, presence, and collaborative platforms provide platforms for enterprise solutions - primarily excellent chat based applications that can now integrate with new AI tools and services (like Azure OpenAI).
Our products include the first application to integrate Sametime with Microsoft Outlook (2002), a bot development and deployment platform (2003), and other Sametime and Microsoft based applications. Instant expanded the product line to include Microsoft LCS based applications and has continued to develop a variety of applications for the Microsoft LCS, OCS Skype for Business, and Microsoft Teams product platforms.
Our chat based service desk applications, chat compliance, and persistent chat rooms are deployed across some of the leading defense and financial service organizations in the world.
As of 2023, Instant now develops a conversational service desk application for Microsoft Teams, Slack, and HCL Sametime - including production deployments across companies with more than 200,000 employees - routing more that 2,000 service desk requests per company\per day.
With the integration of Open AI service into Microsoft Azure, we have now created a new product designed specifically to integrate AI into our chat based service desk. Chime V5 includes a full CMS (build on an excellent Orchard Core platform) as well as deep integration across the Azure OpenAI set of services.
