About this release
Build 3.16.06 bundles several weeks of improvements into a single deploy. The release covers queue reliability, agent-side ergonomics, scheduling, exports, and a stack of routing fixes that had been showing up sporadically in the field.
Highlights
- Queue resilience. Short connectivity blips no longer flip a queue into an offline state. The watchdog now waits for sustained failure before reacting.
- Agent Translation toggle. Translation can now be configured per queue so you can opt-in only the queues that actually need it.
- Refined agent prompt notifications. The toast stack got an audit; duplicates are collapsed and stale prompts clear themselves.
- Timezone-aware scheduling. Schedules now round-trip correctly between an admin in one timezone and an agent in another.
- Better Session Details export. Long transcripts no longer truncate, and timestamps are preserved on export.
- Deflected Chats Details exportsgot the same treatment — all fields land in the CSV, in the right order, every time.
- Live Dashboard Agent list. Active chat counts and invite states now refresh in real time instead of being a snapshot from page load.
- Teams presence in the invite window. When you go to invite an agent, you can see their current Microsoft Teams presence before you pick them.
Bug fixes
- Switching a queue’s routing mode while there were waiting chats no longer blocks agents from picking them up.
- The Admin › Health Monitor status page now reports database counts correctly on Azure-backed environments.
- Chats no longer bypass a configured bot before the queue welcome message has run.
- Agent Translation now handles untranslatable messages gracefully instead of surfacing an error to the agent.
- The Bot Framework duplicate-message bug — where a copy of a message could be redelivered roughly 12 hours later — is fixed.
Locale and GDPR
Locale codes are now stored more flexibly under the hood, which cleans up a few edge cases with mixed-locale tenants. GDPR compliance is preserved through the removal flow with the accompanying Chime GDPR 1.0.55.
