Integration Delivers Automation of Lotus Sametime Buddy List Management Tasks Submitted into AdminP

Instant Technologies, specialists in developing innovative, enterprise-class compliance and productivity solutions for IBM Lotus Sametime and Microsoft Office Communications Server, today announced that Instant Buddy List Administrator has been integrated with AdminP, the native backbone for many Lotus Notes administrative tasks.

Instant Buddy List Administrator provides centrally-controlled, server-side management of IBM Lotus Sametime contacts, groups, and group memberships.  The integration with AdminP enables Buddy List Administrator to immediately respond to and resolve Lotus Domino and Lotus Sametime administrative requests submitted into AdminP.

“Integration between AdminP and Instant Buddy List Administrator has been one of our customers’ most-requested feature enhancements,” says Peyton McManus, President of Instant Technologies.  “Delivering that integration in v3.39 enables our customers to reduce costs, improve service, and minimize administrative overhead.”

Many of Instant’s largest customers have leveraged Buddy List Administrator’s provisioning engine to automate administrative tasks from external applications, including web-based applications, other Notes applications, and internal workflow systems.  For example, one of the world’s largest defense organizations uses Buddy List Administrator to automatically create context-relevant buddy lists as users are provisioned (added) to their Lotus Sametime system.
