Instant Queue Manager Named Best in Best Tool/Utility Solution Category

Instant Technologies today announced that it has been awarded the IBM Lotus Award in the Best Tool/Utility Solution category for the 13th annual IBM Lotus Awards. This is the 3rd Lotus Award Instant Technologies has received, and the second time they have won the Best Tool/Utility category.

The IBM Lotus Awards recognize exceptional IBM PartnerWorld members that specialize in Lotus software solutions and have excelled at providing quality products, innovative solutions and superior services to customers. 

Instant Queue Manager provides the equivalent of a telephone help desk within the instant messaging environment of IBM Lotus Sametime. Instant’s Queue Manager receives customer queries and passes them to the next available agent. 

Chat conversations are stored in a IBM Lotus Domino database where they can be acted upon or moved automatically via a Lotus Domino Agent into other systems such as Remedy, Act, PeopleSoft or SAP.

The Learning Continuum Company (TLCC), a leading provider of distance learning has been using Queue Manager to provide live help on their web site.
